love this game by the way!!!

Is it possible to save your progress at all? Just completed a full lap of the island and I think I've seen everything... but I have no idea how to save so I can come back later.

It is not, right now. I didn’t get that done in time for the jam and didn’t think to add it afterwards. There’s probably not enough late-game content to really merit saving, but if I add more I’ll have to consider it.

I feel like the new update decreases the difficulty too much. It was way more competitive and rewarding with the higher one.

This is really nice! My feature wishlist would be sound effects, seperate colors for 'air' and 'food' on the fullness bar and an upgrade for CHOMP SIZE.
Using Godot's ability to detect individual pixels for an eating mechanic was really smart!

I dont think game over as an rng mechanic is a great choice. I think this shows a lot of promise.

This game is really cool but there is a glitch where if you buy too much pills (to get fat) the character is completely glitched out i gave a photo for you to see the problem but its not that big of a deal dont worry

I’ll have to give that a fix. The downside is it means there will be a cap on how fat the character can be.

This is a really cool idea, and I can see a lot of potential for it, but it can get pretty frustrating as it. The RNG puts out a lot of unwinnable contests(6 items in 15 seconds and such) and without any numerical values on stuff like capacity and digestion rate I can't tell if the upgrades actually affected anything. And the percentage on the fullness bar doesn't seem accurate, because I can still take bites at "100%" without going into overeating, plus when I do overeat it's a mystery how long it'll last. But other than some adjustments on those things, I like it and I'm quite interested in seeing where it goes from here!

Good feedback. I need to make point #3 in the intro clearer. If you’re less than 100% full you won’t get stunned. The farther over 100% are, the more likely you’ll get stunned and the worse it will be. I probably need an ‘overfull’ meter below the regular fill meter.

And yeah, the RNG is brutal. I have some fixed but was worried I’d break it if I uploaded just before the jam ended. :’)
